This page will be frequently updated with answers to some of the most common questions pertaining to the business of editing. Don’t see your question answered? E-mail it to editor@clearcutediting.com
Q: What type of contract do you use with your clients?
A: I use the Standard Freelance Editorial Agreement provided by the Editor’s Association of Canada for all projects. You can find a downloadable copy HERE.
Q: What do you charge for your editorial services?
A: This is always dependent on the amount of work required. Longer, more complicated manuscripts will be quoted differently than shorter, simpler projects. Each project is individually assessed and a quote will be issued to the client in a timely manner. Please e-mail editor@clearcutediting.com to inquire about a quote.
Q: What kinds of writing projects do you edit?
A: I am open to editing any writing project. I have edited fiction, non-fiction, manuals, magazine articles, web site content and academic essays. There is no limit to the type of projects that can benefit from an editor’s touch.
Q: How can I reach you?
