Krista was hired to do social media consulting for Mennonite Central Committee Alberta. She set MCC up on Twitter and led a meeting that went over the basics of social media, why it is important, and how to use it successfully.
Krista worked with rapidBOOKS to plan, organize and lead SocioSocial, a one-day conference that was held in Calgary on December 7th, 2011. The conference focused on three streams: advances in technology, advances in publishing and social media. The event featured keynote speaker Brian O’Leary, prinicpal of Magellen Media Consulting Partners.

Krista worked as a freelance editor for Frontenac House Media Ltd., a publishing house based in Calgary. She edits various manuscripts that have been accepted for publication. She also plays a role in reviewing manuscripts that have been acquired for possible publication.

Clear Cut Editing was hired to provide support for the Edmonton Recital Society’s social media presence. During a span of one week, Krista updated their Facebook account and both created and maintained an ERS Twitter account. Utilizing the social media skills she acquired through the growth of her own business, Krista was able to set up effective and interactive social media accounts for the Edmonton Recital Society. Within this contract, she also provided ERS with a comprehensive document outlining the best ways to use social media effectively.
Clear Cut Editing has been involved with editing corporate projects and working on expanding the social media networks for Jencor Mortgage Corporation.
